Kayleigh Sutherland is a graduate of James Watt College. She has studied make-up modules in many different aspects such as special effects, fashion, photographic, television and film make-up. She has also studied courses in hair including wig making, padding, postiche, styling, colouring and cutting. Kayleigh has successfully completed her VTCT qualification in Theatrical Media Make-up, her HNC in Fashion Make-up Artistry and her HND in Make-up Artistry.
Kayleigh describes herself as “a hard working and highly motivated artist with a great passion for all areas of the make-up profession”. She enjoys working with a client from their initial concept to professional result and has gained experience in many different sectors of the make-up and hair industry.
Kayleigh has worked with the RSAMD on War and Peace which showed in January 2010 at Glasgow’s Theatre Royal and the Edinburgh Festival Theatre. She has also worked on other recent theatre productions such as Porgy and Bess and Bliss which showed at the Festival Theatre in last years Edinburgh Festival. Kayleigh’s 2010 also included; having her work exhibited on the BBC website (image 9), working at the BBC Scotland headquarters on Children In Need, and working on the feature film Electric Man which is set for release in 2011.
